Why parents choose YIL for the holidays
Most holiday programmes try to entertain. We're built to teach, with a structure, a curriculum, and a deliverable at the end.
Real Python coding
From zero to a working program they can demo and explain. Not blocks, real code.
Hands-on electronics
Breadboards, sensors, microcontrollers. They learn how systems actually work.
Real-world problem solving
Challenges with no single answer — they learn to think, not memorise.
Teamwork & leadership
They build in small teams — leading, supporting, disagreeing well.
Pitch Day on stage
Every child presents — slides, project, story. Parents are in the room.
CPR certification
Every cohort gets a certified CPR training session — a real life skill.
Kids who can solve problems will stand out
The earliest opportunities are going to young people who can already think design, code and present. Africa's pipeline is being built right now.

Frequently asked questions
Anything not covered? Send a WhatsApp — we usually reply within an hour.
Does my child need prior coding experience?+
No. The curriculum starts from zero — variables, logic, then their first working program. Children with experience get stretched further by instructors on day one.
Is it really for complete beginners?+
Yes. About 70% of our students have never written a line of code. Instructors teach from absolute zero, in clear language, with real projects on day two.
What ages exactly? My child is 10.+
10 to 18. We split the cohort into two age groups (10–13 and 14–18) so the pace fits — same curriculum, different depth.
What does a normal day look like?+
Mornings: structured lessons. Afternoons: hands-on lab time on the week's project. We finish at 3pm, Monday to Friday. Pitch Day is the final Friday.
Where is Rebase exactly?+
Obobogo, Yaoundé — directly opposite SCB Bank. Once you reserve, we send a pinned location and parking notes.
How does payment work?+
Full payment secures a seat. Mobile money or cash. Written confirmation + receipt issued immediately.
What exactly will my child learn?+
Python, problem solving, hands-on electronics, circuits, Design Thinking, teamwork, leadership and Pitch Day. Plus certified CPR training.
